One person was killed and three others were wounded in Russian shelling across Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region over the past day, the regional governor said on Friday.
Governor Vadym Filashkin reported that one person was killed in the frontline town of Kostiantynivka, where another civilian was also injured. Two more people were wounded in the city of Pokrovsk, a frequent target of Russian strikes.
According to Filashkin, Russian forces shelled settlements in the region 31 times in 24 hours. The attacks come as authorities continue to evacuate civilians from frontline areas, with 416 people, including 35 children, moved to safer regions, the governor added.
