There's a competency crisis sure, but if the vidya industry is anything like my industry you have project managers who are mbas instead of from the field their people are managing from, or if you don't have that problem the good talent is stretched so thin and has so little focus that their talent goes to waste. That last part is really important because this also means they have no time to pass on industry knowledge to their colleagues and the guys that work under them. It's not enough that we live in the era where productivity is the highest, we also are expected to produce more than ever before relative to what our productivity allows. And THEN you have fucking street shitter jeets on top of all that. Shit is fucked, I just want to see all the mba types crash and burn hard and lose fucking everything and for every last shitskin to be deported.
