You ask Ponnamie about herself.

"About me? Hmm..." She smiled. "Why, I'd almost think you were interested in a city beastfolk like me."

"Maybe I am." You said, giving her a shit-eating grin.

"Hah! If I were a couple decades younger I'd be willin' to get hitched." She chuckled. "I hope you ain't lookin' to get a discount for only a kiss~"

"And take advantage of a poor widow?" You respond with a chuckle of your own. "I wouldn't dream it."

"Now, aren't you a real gent~"

"That's odd. I've been told I'm a bit of a brute."

"With how polite you've been to a poor beastfolk lady like me? I can't imagine it."

"Then, how about I show you?" You chanced to scratch behind her ears.

"Oooh, that feels heavenly..." Ponnamie's newly gained state of bliss was interrupted when she jumped back, her eyes going wide and her face red. "H-Hey! Let's calm down for a bit..."

"Too far?" You felt mildly disappointed as she nodded. "A shame— I didn't even get to massaging you."

"Massaging?" She repeated.

"Take it from me, mate," Cattleya meowed. "Guv's hands are the best at giving a proper rubdown, I swear on me mum."

The rest of your wives, at least those that weren't distracted by the products, made assenting sounds.

"He is?" Ponnamie blinked. She then turned to you. "Now, it's rude to get an old lady like me all worked up." She smiled, trying to regain some composure. "But I'm already past my prime..."

"I would give in and remain calm if I were you." Ayane said with an air of experience as she looked over a flying broom. "I've dedicated most of my life to remaining calm in any situation, yet Master easily pierced my defenses and made me feel like a young woman again. You wouldn't stand a chance."

These words didn't calm down the poor rabbit woman. Much the opposite, actually.

However, you did relent after a bit and asked her about what the plaza would need to succeed.

"First you oughta clamp down on crime," Ponnamie began, both relieved and slightly sad about the change in topic, "Hire adventurers or bounty hunters to hunt down the local gang lords. Or you could pay them off to act nice. Pressure the tavern to move it's business out, since they ain't done none any good. Give people clean food and water for free, and try not to scare 'em with talk of collectin' rent. Now, I'm not the best merchant around, hardly compete with the others, but the way Ah see it you should give 'em some jobs in fixin' up the place, pay 'em enough to make 'em trust you. Then bring in some businesses to set shop an' have the people here get hired by 'em. Except the gnomes. Never trust the gnomes." She put emphasis on that request.
