It seems that way because of the screenshots but it's more about adventure and exploration, you have a quest given to you by some crazy norwegian entity to find some artifacts, you have to explore each area and find certain things to keep progressing, for example keys or a lever for an elevator or a zipline, so you get to explore each area to completion and fight enemies along the way using "traditional norwegian tools" like a sling, crossbow, tomahawks and shit like that. It's more like Half Life: Fight the Macumbeiros Edition than a walking simulator.
