I also love/loathe how, despite this image being an obvious joke, the guy is genuinely putting in a ton of effort to assimilate to Japanese culture. Reading, writing, and engaging with media that's in a foreign language is a fantastic way to learn it, and some of the customs. I fucking wish each immigrant tried this hard when they moved.
