The nature of western leftism became deeply intertwined with identity politics. All of modern western leftism is identity politics, and has been so since the late 50's. The fact is that today, white proletarians (socialists as well) are forced to align with certain billionaire factions to protect their short term interests from guaranteed losses or death, in the same way that trannies and leftist socialists are forced to align with neoliberal business and NGOs to protect the short-term interests of trannies, niggers, and what have you.
