Ooooh... THIS update.

They stay, and not just one night.
“You are more troubled than usual,” Helias says, running his fingers over her naked body, gently rubbing against her sweaty and tanned skin. His hands are covered in skin as well, something she hasn’t felt in—
In too long.
“I am stalling,” the Stilladìa replies, cuddling closer to his body, her slender arms wrapped around his torso. “I am well aware.”
“The night turns. Remember when I told you there are more important things than the will of Ansàrra?”
“I am well aware, Helias,” she sighs, a slight tinge of annoyance coming into her voice. She searches for his gaze, and there it is, framed by the silvery glow of the planetary ring, peering through the window.
The Maduan family inside which they are nesting, always generous, has given them the guest’s room.Actually, the guest’s house.
It was too much for her fragile heart.
She wanted to live it, that shattered dream.
They have played the part of the freshly-wed couple, enjoying a life under her sun.
Just an illusion.
A way to stall the incoming tide.
But she needed it.
Oh, how she needed it.
“I visited the girl,” she adds, as she sets her head in the middle of his breast, setting a quick kiss on his sweaty skin. He looks so good, naked. She will miss this. “In her cell.”
“Was it so troubling?” He tilts her chin, kissing her — she sighs, their breath intermingling. These little joys of mortal bodies. Forgotten for so long.
A pantomime.
A display of puppets.
But it feels so good. And so right.
Everything that was taken away from them…
“Ansàrra does not answer to her anymore. That silver-haired girl cannot be healed. And yet. This Argia Candente seems to have an uncanny ability to fascinate everyone who comes to know her,” Helias adds with a chuckle. “I asked the wind and the water, and they told me that even our old friend Rosandra was left stunned.”
“Another reason why I visited her alone,” she smirks, a crimson glint in her green eyes.
“Do not be ridiculous, runt.” He scoffs, one of his hands reaching down to knead her left buttock. Heat spreads through her flesh and down to the twisted fences of her heart. “There is no woman who would make me stop looking at you even for a moment.”
The Stilladìa grins, nuzzling her cheeks against his chest.
“You better.”
