As someone enjoying both, I'd say for now I prefer Star Rail more.
But P5X does a lot of good iteration from P5 for both players and enemies, much better overall.

It does, though social links are like 20 ranks now so they're way farther into the link but you can still romance most of the girls. There's event a Valentine's event
