I like how this shit falls apart when you take into consideration that games HAVE had shit from sci-fi and modern settings in them. Case in point, the Ultima series. In addition to the traditional fantasy shit you've got sci-fi and modern shit in the game as well including handguns, laser guns, planes, and space ships due to the presence of time travel in the game's story.
