I don't know man, he needed more mojo in the confrontational scenes, for someone being betrayed by one of his only buddies he seemed way too calm when they faced each other, no sarcasm, no quips, no angry gaze, that role would've fit Dalton better but Brosnan is quite the actor when he gets to play with women, some of the best girls in a movie.
Trevelyan needed way more screen time, an evil Bond with all his same antics demands as much playtime as Scaramanga or Franz.
