I think what happened is that a lot of these people had their driver's education in the 1970s when cell phones didn't even exist so as phones became a part of everyone's life, they just naturally started using them while driving.
I'd like to say that us younger Generations are better, but I'm starting to feel like I'm the only gen Z who doesn't sit staring at my phone at every stoplight.

been using linux for the last 5 years and things have never been THIS bad before. is it honestly just time to cut our losses and come back later when shit has hopefully settled itself? I don't even know what version of Windows I'd even use, but this landscape has become fucking exhausting.
