It's not like Peggy is a close friend to Dale. She doesn't want to mess up Dale's relationship with Hank. Telling Dale that Joseph isn't his son basically destroys the Gribble family. Peggy has a pretty good relationship with Nancy and doesn't want to betray her as a friend either.
