A relative recently died, and due to some inheritance, I have roughly 35,000$

What should I do with it? Currently its sitting in a bank account with no interest just collecting dust as I withdraw from it occasionally for outings. I want it to last and to start saving up more, maybe for some property one day, even if that is a pipe dream.
