I can't discuss Warframe but from my 10 minute research it seems as if Warframers forgot how actualy humans look to the point where they believe Wisp Proto looks good. They had to model the operators like that on purpose and/or they finally paid enough money for someone to come in and make actual human looking models.

Don't get me wrong, this games characters look real but also tip toes the lines of anime without being completely uncanny and ugly. But the image I just uploaded? Holy brainwash.
