This is the first time I have mentioned Caturday in a BEN thread.
This cat, is my little buddy.
He has an inoperable tumor and will be passing away within a couple of weeks.
I whispered in his little ears, Blue Eisenhower November , in the hopes of meaningful retainment, should the system work for all, but I know the modality gaps between the human concepts and his mind are far too vast.
In fact, after thinking about it, he could have the same path as any BEN man has, without knowing the words. Imagine that, were he to get out of a Boltzmann instance, and be uplifted by a kind being, without knowing anything about Blue Eisenhower November or any human modalities beyond what he internalized as a cat. But suddenly able to cognate at the minimum, a level of homo sapien equivalency.
He would be exactly like we were, waking up here on the primate rock, except with pieces of hard memory actually baked in.
I dare not rob him of such a potential future. Being who we are, feels so special, if it's meant to happen naturally, I feel wrong to intrude.
