As Jerid loads his pistol, Amate continues to desperately shake Char in an attempt to awaken him. Seeing no progress, Amate slams her hands against the Gundam's control panel, praying to have it move to escape. Without warning, the cockpit hatch of the Gundam unlocks, placing her and Char in near open sight of Jerid.

>Jerid: Huh? A little kid...? You, raise your arms up and get out of there!

Just as Jerid raises his pistol, the Gundam's hand twitches as it flicks Jerid away, slamming his body against the maintenance tunnels wall.
