If you wanna escape because your depressed, it seems like the end of this philosophical skit is either ascend in some way I don’t think the author thinks is possible or a bullet through the brain because “the world is only suffering.” In a world of only suffering, the word triumph cannot exist because there is only defeat, just as light can’t exist without dark, rather because suffering exists joy has meaning and reward gratifying.
Literally escapism in stead of constructing meritocratic and worthy of being real constructs - physical and mental.
