Kek. I was just finishing up reading Vera's story and yeah, it's not as jarring as that one anon made it out to be. I think it helps that the story doesn't act like it's some major revelation by introducing it way early, giving itself time to cover any potential plot holes while neatly filling in the gaps of Vera's past and her interest in Gary. I also like that it made a proper story out of it instead of feeling like a one-off, all while yielding some great interactions between the characters. And yeah, there's lot of interesting things they teased for the future in the chapter.

Which parts of Selena, may I ask? I know she was in an awful limbo for a very long time but I personally enjoyed her reintroduction in the latest story.
