- 7 million are self-employed, earn only $13,000 or less yearly.
- Most of them work for small and medium-sized enterprises anyway.
- 7.4% of young people are unemployed (Japan only 3.7%).
- 15.3% of workers don't receive the minimum wage (Japan only 2%).
- Unpaid wage cases are 14x higher than Japan.
