Yes I have Undying and miss Immortal because of that exact reason I mentioned.
Also I played at 15fps 800x600 ( 3fps with lust) all the way until Cata, when I built a pc with my first paycheck.
Still remember when I was finally able to run max render distance at more than the bare minimum and the map felt so much smaller.
Like when I would ride the Icecrown airship, the zone felt like a bottomless abyss and had completely different feel than when I could just see the ground and the monsters crawling around.

yikes man. the basic camp to lvl 12 then hope someone can carry the boss strat exists for a good reason. You can really tell when someone hasnt played elden ring much
