The evidence had to be unsealed.
The President can't unseal what the DOJ seals.
But the congress is allowed to vote to override the DOJ.

The only way that President Trump could get the democrats to unseal the evidence, was to pretend that he didn't want that evidence to ever be unsealed.
The democrats will do anything that President Trump doesn't want.
