That's not what it says though, it says it's bad to deny the grimness of reality and sacrifice your own future just to prolong a comfortable and complacent state of existence. It says the exact opposite about creature comforts, it says those are the things that make the struggle bearable (so long as, again, you're not fucking up your own or someone else's future to acquire them).
