While thinking about Centria, you realize that you might've missed the 'What We Know of Hybrid Breakdown' presentation at the Academy. After perusing through the newspaper you'd gottne this morning, you found that there was apparently a second version of that lecture coming up soon.
The 'What We Know of Hybrid Breakdown' and 'Corruption, Curses, And Mana Mutation' were both apparently being held this week in the lecture hall. In the same day, no less, but thankfully not at the same time. Both had 'Second Edition' tacked after their titles, making you assume that they organized it so that things would happen this way.
"You useless goddess." You chided Herta as you brought it up at dinnertime. "Why didn't you tell me it was being held last week?"
"Kyaah! I forgot! I'm sorry!" Herta exclaimed.
"Master," Gerty, wearing full metal plated armor in all places except her stomach, rose from her chair and stared at you in the eye. "I am equally to blame! As your useless bitch-sow, it was my duty-!"
"Gerty, why the hell are you standing?" You asked.
"I'm showing my commitment to you, sir!" Gerty declared.
"Gerty, sit." You commanded. Gerty immediately complied. "And now tell me why you're wearing that."
"Yes, sir," Gerty tried to explain. "Parts of the Holy Armor I usually wear don't fit me anymore, so I've opted to wear as much as possible without harming the precious package you've placed inside of me!"
"Let me rephrase that; why the hell are you wearing armor at dinnertime?" You clarify.
"You ordered me to wear armor, sir!" Gerty explained.
"When I said you needed to wear more armor instead of that bikini stuff, I didn't mean you always needed to wear full plated armor." You said.
"Forgive me, Master!" Gerty said. She was about to strip, but you stopped her before things got any stupider.
"Master," Bertha said. "I'm almost done with Holy Armor thingy, don't worry about it!"
"Thanks babe." You were grateful.
"Wait a second." Yumi, who had mostly kept to herself all day, finally began to speak. "Does this mean another journey shall be undertaken? Lead once more to the bustling realm of merchants known as Centria? All for the sake of a trivial gathering of the learned at the hallowed Academy? Such vanity is beneath this accursed servant's designs!" She said in a theatrical voice. "Except perhaps the wandering spirit known as Yumi would like to come with the Savant Lord..." Yumi quietly added.
"Obviously my gallant Master planned this all along." Ruby said with a smug smirk. "He waited for the optimal time to go there, predicting that a refined lecture would be available, slowly weaving his web."
"Master, wait! Hold on!" Herta said, looking nervous. "Um, if we go to Centria, let's only stay there for a day! There's, uh, some super important aluminum stuff to do here!"
