Yixuan's story isn't done yet but I think spook shack might take the role of cunning hares for the majority of ver2.2+. They've been teasing supernatural stuff with some of the npcs that show up at midnight so that's probably the next story arc.
Nicole meeting Yuzuha would be good though, and she already set a precedent of randomly appearing whenever exposition dumps happened in 1.0. I'd be surprised if there wasn't at least one cunning hares cameo later. They're too much of a staple faction and Belobog already showed up briefly for the temple reconstruction.
