Only seen it done in one web novel and it was a track that would begin playing in the background when you reached the point of the chapter where one of the characters started singing (pic rel). If you're releasing it on something like royalroad where you can't embed it like that then id just put it in the authors note. Tell them to click the link and play it when X happens. I agree with the other anon though. It's your novel, give it a shot and if it doesn't work you can just edit it out.
