Reading it, we know why it's all bullshit, so does she, the intent is to pull you into this endless "WeLL wHaT DiD yOu MeAn By ThAt?" game that just goes on and on and on, if you're explaining, you're losing. They know what you mean.
The moves are to laugh or ignore it entirely.
An ESL student would understand that whole statement just fine, it takes wilful stupidity to not understand it.

That's the winning move, for sure. We had "shaming culture" for a reason and women respond to social pressures. Even attention, actually. There was a pretty girl in a setting I would attend regularly, we'd always talk and flirt occassionally, but I could sense there wasn't going to be an opportunity to go further so I'm wasting my time.
Eventually, she actually comes and corners me after a few months of this and flat out asks why and I have to diplomatically as I can explain to her we're not going to start dating so I don't want to waste my time. Makes me the cunt apparently, I don't care. We've all been a sucker at some time or another who has given a woman way too much attention thinking something will happen and it doesn't.
