Actually iirc this takes place right after Ryuji awakens to his Persona so she would've known him by now. The rumors about Joker are crazy, and already hanging out with "that Sakamoto", and fast forward he's now eavesdropping her nasty phone call and following her around while she's in an awful mood. It only makes sense she would see him as a total freak
