I'm gonna be real with you and this is the only time I'm ever going into this here again. It wasn't one small uncomfortable truth bomb that made my pretence of friendship with you crumble into dust out of nowhere, that's a mischaracterisation. It was actually a long series of things revealed to me about you from talking with you at length for the last few weeks. The way you talk about your past close friends, the way you change on a dime with them and make a concerted effort to hit them where you know it hurts whenever they've (probably naively) made any kind of sleight to your fragile, amorphous, ever-changing intellect and persona, or if they've taken your precious time and company for granted in any way. People are really just as valuable and disposable as ants to you. You're a very arrogant and unpleasant person in general, and you're more of a "bully" than I ever was, because you take things people tell you in trust and confidence and use them to your advantage as a social chess move time and time again. I'm not innocent in this whole story of course, not at all, but I'm glad talking to you again helped me come to terms with the fact that you're just as rotten as I am. Maybe that's what it was all for.
