The Elysium Residential area in Megaman Legends 2. Basically a chain of islands where the immortal human survivors of Earth lived. I don't think it's revealed what happened to them, but each island has a little house that you can't enter, some islands are completely inaccessible, and the sky is (probably) fake. The music is like an off-kilter parody of the level theme. The last surviving human decides to abandon Elysium when they decide that living forever isn't such a good idea.
