bumron's rejection of western culture was based entirely on western culture rejecting him. It had nothing to do with quality. He would be shilling every other generic capeshit slop and tumblr game if those people did not find him repulsive. He didn't even know/care about Japanese culture. Everything he did was just contrarianism. He only "liked" those things because they were different. He associated things like Steven Universe and Skullgirls with people he hated. If those people talked about Nitroplus Blasterz and Queen's Blade before him, he would have never given those things the time of day.

It is very similar to how PJ's hatred of Skullgirls is born from the creators being more famous and having more money than him rather than any actual qualities of the game itself.

It's just more narcissism and him reflecting on what the work says about him rather than anything about the work itself.
