I've been playing through Thracia 776 for the first time and the "Loptians" in this game are the most on-the-nose foil for Jews I've ever seen in a game, they rule multiple countries with their shadow government, they worship a demonic god, they have a sad backstory for why their race hates everyone else, take advantage of greedy non-Loptians by offering their services in exchange for political power, they round up children to (mind)rape them, and they arrange marriages with non-Loptians to implant themselves amidst the nobility. There's literally 0% chance this is on accident. Literal textbook antisemitic tropes. Maybe he did this because he felt the dragons from FE1/FE3 weren't loud enough dog-whistles already.

It seems obvious to me that Kaga was booted from Nintendo for this rather than him being autistic about not wanting to make a 3D game which is the main narrative we've been told about it. It's no wonder the Jugdral games were never localized and it immediately seems obvious to me why we're really never getting Jugdral remakes, at least not without heavy story changes. The other toxic story elements aren't anywhere near as big of a deal to localizers as this, we've had incest and pedophilia as recent as Fates and nobody cared.
