Self inserting is whatever in a normal scenario, its fun to do in RPGs, but damn near impossible in a hoyogame. The MC is the most emasculating character ever, either because hoyo is actually full of betas/women or its just a side effect of the devs being chinese. I can't imagine looking at aether/caelus and going "YEP THAT'S ME". I just play the cute female because she has cute moments with the other cute girls, then roll for the limited girls I want to fuck.
