A friend I've reconnected with says I should meet some of his friends who converted to Greek Orthodoxy; and that he'd be interested what they'd think about my being Jewish. They talk about how the Jews killed Christ and the corrosive influence of 'international finance'. Typical ortho-bro converts. Feels like I'm getting it from all sides lately. This friend is hospitable and doesn't hold any prejudice, but skepticism towards the Jews is really in vogue lately.

It's interesting too because all my favourite stories of the Righteous Among the Nations are from the Orthodox world. They had a stronger moral compass than those from the Catholic church at least.
