I'm not sure if I already brought this up before, but honest to god I'm wondering how did Naruto manage to maintain the momentum of it's popularity like this, as in even in daily format there's clearly a lot of chapters with very sluggish pacing fraught with tons of padding and borderline nothing happening, but during publication you would've had to wait a full WEEK between chapters, how is it possible to not burn out the fanbase?
