I know this is old new already, but am I the only one who finds fishy Mel basically just said "I quit, now I'm gonna be MIA for 2 weeks instead of saying anything"?

I can't help but feel she is involved somehow, or has a level of responsibility in all this. Maybe the rrat that the COO is her husband is real after all.
