The reality is that nothing is accomplished here, the people playing these games do so precisely because they'd never do something like that irl, same with the women who read books which fetishize rape because they themselves fantasize about getting raped and impregnated. All that has happened is a bunch of wealthy white women got on an adventure because they're bored with their lives and managed to ban some games.
These types of games will continue to be made and sold, same with the books with rape for women and maybe Elon Musk gets an alternative payment system going which means MC and Visa shot themselves in the foot. That's pretty much it.
