this is a song i used to listen to a bunch as a kid when i was growing up isolated and alone and full of imagination of what my life would be like when i grew up and finally escaped my parents' house. well i did escape and i moved out and went to college and trooned out and now i'm living a very similar isolated lifestyle as i did as a kid due to social anxiety and not being able to relate to most people very well anymore.

i hadn't listened to this song in years until i watched 28 days later yesterday and it plays during the scene where they all go to the grocery store and it's so warm and happy and it's just like christmas in the middle of a nightmare and it made me feel something. it's been in my head ever since.
