It has nothing going for it other than the action and the fantastical artwork and paneling. The cast of characters and the worldbuilding are some of the weakest, most uninteresting I’ve ever seen in anything, and every time I see someone compare this mediocrity to Gintama, I die a little inside. Sakamoto has no charm, no emotional core, no nothing. Is the manga equivalent of watching someone play with action figures.
