The cost of owning a company should come down and that's not going to change while a large company can just buy out your company and fire all its employees. These companies that are worth billions are what used to be referred to as a "Trust" made of dozens of other companies.
This cost isn't coming down while investor leverage allows them to simply murder every company whose net worth isn't 2 billion on startup. The cost is high because the players aren't just competitors, it's competitors + the banks that prop them up.
You're assuming corporations are people, and fuck that. Our economy has been hollowed out by these same people using leveraged buyouts since Reagan allowed it in the 80s, they need their chain pulled.
