She already left the US, apparently, in fear that Donald Trump may arrest her. She has now begun the process of acquiring Irish citizenship. The plan is probably to revoke her citizenship on the basis that she acquired a second one, thus invoking old laws prohibiting dual citizenship and pushing it to the Supreme Court so we can get rid of dual citizenship as a whole.
