Reminder: They've been offered their own state on FIVE occasions and refused it every time because they only want a single state run by them and won't accept anything else. Israel refuses to allow a people with their current mindset to have its own military force, at least initially, and would assume military security of both states as part of the agreement, they even have plans drawn up for integration of systems and tunnels and roads to link separated territories into one whole and joint investment ventures to build the new state to Israeli standards so their neighbours can have a good quality of life.
They(Arabs of the region) started the war in 1948 just seven hours after Britain withdrew its final forces under UN agreement and the arabs lost it and every war since but cry victim every time, the entire "Nakba" is a myth, its only a catastrophe to them because they lost the war they started and paid the price for it.
Hell the Arabs started the anti Jew massacres back in 1929 which started this entire hostility in the region as that event literally marked the foundation of the predecessor what would become the IDF aswell.
Israel has given up much of its rightfully conquered land(Sinai peninsula,Gaza strip and south Lebanon) won in legitimate wars over the last 50 years to secure peace with hostile neighbours even against the advice of allies and nationalist jews, many of whom now feel vindicated on their opinions regarding it. Only the "Palestinians" refuse to accept.
No one else around the region cares for them, its all virtue signalling and word play because they are a violent and obstinate people and Egypt and Jordan in particular fully remember what the "Palestinians" did to both countries. The Abraham accords signed in the last few years and renunciation of all territorial claims by Arab neighbours on Israel over the last 35 years proves that. Several countries are waiting to sign the accords but are waiting for the end of the Gaza war first due to optics.
