Both Page and Roiland were disruptive to their respective productions. Page took credit for other people's work and would occasionally have mental episodes, while Roiland would show up to work drunk--or not even show up at all--and made no effort to either suggest new writers of his own or collaborate with the ones Dan Harmon would hire. Roiland could've stepped down professionally like Mike Judge or Seth MacFarlane did on their own cartoons, but he instead became a pain to work with. And that's without mentioning his creeping on high schoolers or openly whining about not getting to fuck them on his podcast.
