Anyone who said this is a subhuman iq retard, I grew up in the deep south and went to a deeply conservative school where creationism was required to be presented alongside evolution and our history classes still covered the Atlantic slave trade and made sure we knew about slaves being bought from africans we even had a map in the classroom of different african tribes and we covered the Zulu wars and shit

I'm convinced that people who claim this shit isn't covered either have an agenda or were just bad students, which to be fair is understandable for children, history classes in the US are deeply flawed due to state tests and basically just presented as a list of facts you learn then check off through rote memorization, if you don't have an interest and aren't able to see history as a narrative then you're far more likely to get left behind and tune it all out
