Serious question for anyone that’s lived in Japan for extended period of time. This is my friend who is going there for a month on her own, she is very progressive and liberal and dresses like this often. I’ve heard about Japan and the subway groping culture and rape generally being underreported but quite common.
Is it safe for her to go alone? Should I try and talk her out of it?
