How many of you have tried:

>online dating, witha profile you put effort into, for more than 3 months
>making small talk with young women in class, at work, or in casual social settings
>going to parties or other social events and trying to be pleasant
>hitting up a gym/bathhouse in your nearest big city, in a neighborhood with a lot of antique stores and men's fashion boutiques
>just asking the women in your life to help.you meet someone

I know things have changed since my youth, but it can't be THAT bad out there.
