I've been hearing this "PC is the future, consoles are dead" cope for a decade straight and yet the PS4, PS5, Switch 1 and 2 all sold well. The only one that's goin under is Xbox and that's 100% on Microsoft's stupid ass decisions.
It's not happening. Ther will always be a market for those who just want to buy a box that can instantly play games.

The only thing that could affect consoles is a Netflix-like service that has a huge catalog of games that can be played on any device.
