I have seen that but it's not very common.. usually people get confused how to use a knife and a fork to cut something like a steak. But after I show them the correct way, the majority seems to get it.

New generations have grown up reading only digital 24h clocks. It's like saying they cannot use a rotary phone. And even though I can read an analog clock perfectly (upside down, through a mirror and other novelty configurations), I calibrate all my devices to use military time. It's just more intuitive.

Then again I grew up with mostly women so maybe I'm the weird one? I do have OCD... I also served 4 months in prison and I was washing myself way too frequently..
Good thing I went to a nice jail where my cell was quite spacious and there were 5 other people there. We had our own bathroom and we kept it clean.
