I have since revised some of the decisions.

Just get a single mora, other options are not worth the weight and hassle if you have a hatchet for heavier tasks. Combat knife not necessary if you have a pistol.
>Hot weather
Need sun protection for my pasty arms and neck.
>Insulation
Padded insulation is lighter, but fleece is more durable. IMO the reasonable layering is woolpower-fleece-padded, with the padded jacket only used in deep winter.
