Tfw no Fancy Eligius and Fancy Pai uncomfortably dragged into a high stakes card table where they gamble for magic gear. Also the warlock store visit delayed, but im holding on to hope. How many times must Eligius change their cover story lol.

If he can't buy that wisdom I guess something more like
"Every faction is going to be present. Each has its eyes, its ears, and its women." Eligius could try and endure his phobia to sell that last part a bit, a kiss, a bit of groping, Pai will sell it better than him. "Ours just does the courtesy of letting loyal members know they're watched, and after we're on our way. Thats how it should be."


Hmmm I wonder if a mixed strategy would have been more suitable. Pai gets in her way, Eligius buys his fancy outfit and sneaks in with the Cloak. Once hes inside he just has to not fuck up and draw attention with so many people from out of town. Could maybe even transfer the cloak to Pai so she can move around a bit more without being spotted.

I miss the Crocolisk dream of hunting syndicates and letting Cyrus eat the evidence.
