From Police? I would imagine there would be rifts developing within their forces and the enforcement would fall off. In the revolution proper, they would abandon their posts in large enough numbers to make their operations difficult to maintain amidst the mounting """law""" violations they would need to address.
I'm just waiting to see how the scale tips.
If it happens by shedding of blood via the feds, then it will be a violent revolution, and those numbers I can't fathom. But if it continues along a path of passive resistance, especially if Alberta pushes the separation referendum, I expect to see the feds flounder around trying to play the tough guy while nothing happens until they fade into irrelevance through their own delusions and ineptitude.
